Outside, Lee Xuan overheard Jiang Hao’s words and glared back at him with loathing before turning to leave.
As Lee Xuan descended the stairs and neared the exit, a voice caught his attention.
“Hey! Isn’t that Young Master Li?”
Puzzled, Lee Xuan turned toward the source of the voice.
A young man in a suit, cigarette dangling from his lips, was eyeing Jiang Hao with a half-lidded gaze.
Despite the scar marring his face, he had an air of success about him.
Behind him stood eight young men dressed just like him, in light blue shirts and trousers.
Emblazoned on their shirt pockets was a prominent thumb-sized “Liu.”
Upon seeing this group, a sly smile crept across Liu Xuan’s brooding face, and he approached them.
“Team Leader Sun, what brings you here?”
The leader, cigarette in mouth, replied,
“Just treating the boys to a little culinary upgrade!”
Sensing something amiss, Team Leader Sun probed further,
“Young Master Li, you seem out of sorts. Has someone crossed you? Need us to handle it?”
At that, Lee Xuan’s eyes sparkled with an idea.
“Perhaps I could pay Sun Qi to settle the score for me.”
