​ Looking at Maman, the Spirit that had formed out of manager Tilan's Soul Essence, Zayn was a little disappointed.

"Superior Talent but not even a special ability. You really are good for nothing," He mumbled quietly before sending the Human Spirit out to remove everything valuable from the corpses that littered the slight elevation.

While Maman moved as instructed, Glutton acted on its own. It started to feed on the corpses that had already been cleared. Once their valuables were removed, the corpses wouldn't be useful for Zayn anymore. The only use they had were for Glutton, who devoured the corpses and turned them into Soul Orbs.

On the other hand, Zayn had some time to properly annex the massive amount of ownerless soul particles that had flooded into his body. Zayn focused on controlling the soul particles in his body to create several threads out of soul particles. The threads would slowly be annexed and accepted into his heart.

It was almost as if his Heart was a train and the soul particle threads were guests that waited at the entrances to enter.

Zayn was quite satisfied with the result of his work. It would take a while before he could start the framework of his third Soulring because he would need complete focus and quite surrounding for this, but that was fine.

He could still absorb soul particles and amass them inside his heart. This was no problem, at all!

"These idiots were actually poor. They didn't even average one gold coin per Blessed…" Zayn complained after he finished organizing the loot Maman had collected painstakingly.

Most pieces of armor had been destroyed in the battle, but there were still 64 pieces of armor, a total of 405 Weapons, 109 expanding pouches, and nine genuine Artifacts, including a Small Spatial Ring.

The latter had belonged to Manager Tilan, which was not further surprising. Zayn was just a little surprised that Manager Tilan could save one of his Artifacts. He thought that everything had been seized.

'Then again, the guards were looking for him. Tilan was on the run.'

Expanding pouches were considered pseudo-artifacts. They cost at least 40 gold coins. Thus, it was a great surprise to find so many of them.

Zayn was a little confused because there were only nine Artifacts, a total of 109 pseudo-artifacts, 163 Soul Knight-ranked Armaments, and 306 Soul Squire Armaments…but only 395 gold coins.

'They must be wasting their money on alcohol, drugs, women, and gambling. If that's not the case, they're probably throwing their whole fortune toward their family…well, it's not like it should matter to me…'

All in all, Zayn was very satisfied with his gains. Complaining about the lack of gold showed how spoiled he became after earning over 5000 gold coins in a week within the Colosseum. He was even rewarded with the Silvermoon Bracelet, which was worth much more than that.

His concept of money was slowly turning into a big mess.

However, that was actually quite enjoyable. He had enough money to play around a little, and as long as he sold the Armaments, Pseudo-Artifacts, and the Artifacts he didn't need anymore, he would have more than enough money to buy anything he needed, if there was something like that, in the first place.

If he were to be honest with himself, he didn't really need money right now.

A quiet place for a few weeks was more than enough.

But that was probably too much to ask for right now. He had to leave the central region of the human territory, and make some distance to Zerek first.

There was not much left of the battlefield after Glutton devoured all corpses and Tera terraformed the bloodied ground and remaining clothes.

However, everyone in Zerek would find out about the disappearance of 400 Blessed sooner or later. The news would spread and it was only a matter of time before everyone would come to the same conclusion; The Blessed disappeared while hunting Zayn in the wilderness.

As long as Zayn couldn't be found, it would be difficult to find out the truth. Some rumors about him were bound to spread, but it was highly likely that nobody, or almost nobody would actually believe that he was strong enough to fight 400 Blessed at the same time.
